Carla is a proposal to explore the stories within the sub-narratives of a fashion show, delving deeper than just the clothes and exploring the intersection of figures who have been self-powered, creating significant changes in the interconnected strategies of fashion circulation.

Since 2017, Marco Marino has been meticulously searching for the presence, looks, and normal gestures of Carla Sozzani, captured in the online videos of Rei Kawakubo's Comme des Garçons fashion shows (and other brands under their umbrella) openly available on the web, mainly thanks to YouTube. He obsessively screenshotted these moments, no matter how fleeting, when Carla appeared on the front row. Eleonora De Chiara brought Marco's collection to IDEA.
